Last month I started taking this column more seriously. I will have more news on that next month.
This month I wanted to show you a couple of cars that I would consider calling about... except that I don't think my sons would like them. Since one of the reasons to get a classic is to enjoy it with my sons (my oldest just got his permit, and my youngest is very into cars), I would not look at these because I think my sons would not want to be seen in them.
Let's see these hideous cars.
1971 Chevy Nova - $12,900 --> $11,400
Description: Chevy Nova . New paint, new bumpers, new wheels and tires, new exhaust, new master cylinder, new windshield. Power steering, runs great, get compliments every where I drive the car. 350 2bbl, auto trans turbo 350.

Comments: Notice the price. I saw this car listed for $12,900 on 3/7. On 3/25 I went back and saw the price lowered to $11,400. In April it was sold. I like the 68-72 Novas. They can be total sleeper cars. But I don't see my sons warming up to this.
1972 Dodge Dart Swinger - $14,995 --> $13,995
Description: This 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger is an awesome way to get into the old car hobby without spending a ton of cash to do it. With just 19,302 original miles, it's a slam-dunk for HPOF judging at any level, and an all-around neat car loaded with options like factory A/C and a set of Rallye wheels. Simple, clean, and affordable, this Dart is a lot of fun for the Mopar enthusiast on a budget.

Comments: Another price drop. I first saw it on 3/11, but when I checked for this article it was down a grand. Once again... I cannot image my sons getting into this car. I love the 19K original miles. I would want to see if that was documented. I just love low mileage original cars. I could easily see getting this car... but my sons... will think it is ugly... and won't even know what it is.
